Dear Community members,

We are sorry to inform you that the most anticipated event of the year, the fourth Nepal Day celebrations scheduled on 18 April 2020 has now been cancelled due to emerging and rapidly-changing developments in regards to the COVID-19. This decision was made as a precautionary response to the rapidly changing scenario of the COVID-19 emergence, and as an effort to limit the spread of the virus. We strongly believe cancellation of this event is in line with CDC recommendations to avoid gathering of large groups of people.

During this time of uncertainty, the health and safety of our community members remains our utmost concern. We request all community members to exercise reasonable precautions to prevent the spread of viral illnesses , practice good hand hygiene; avoid close contact to others if you feel sick; and cover cough and sneeze. If you have a fever or exhibit flu like symptoms, please consult a healthcare professional. We know this is a critical time for all of us, if you need any assistance please feel free to contact any BOD members or contact us at ncnc@ncnepal.org

Sincerely,

Board of Directors
