North Carolina residents celebrated this year’s Haritalika
Teej organized by NCNC at King’s village Hall at Raleigh.The celebration started on Friday evening
with traditional Daar festivity, Teej songs and dances. After eating the most
delicious food, the hall was charged with great voices and beautiful dances, so
much so that nobody wanted to leave at the end.
The festival was continued on Saturday at Hindu Temple with
aaratai and finished on Sanday afternoon with puja ands another feast of
Karkaloko tarkari and khir.
This years Haritalika Teej festival was the most attended
Teej by NCNC members and family.
