The NCNC Bylaw Review Committee 2026 has completed its initial review of the current NCNC Bylaws and prepared a draft containing proposed amendments and recommendations.

Attached for your review, you will find the following documents:

  • Summary of Proposed Changes – An overview of the recommended amendments.
  • Proposed Amended Bylaws – The draft incorporating the proposed changes.
  • Current NCNC Bylaws – The existing bylaws for comparison.

The proposed amendments have incorporated the initial feedback and suggestions received from NCNC members and the community. We now invite all NCNC members and community stakeholders to review the documents thoroughly and share any additional feedback, comments, or suggestions with the Bylaw Review Committee by October 31, 2026.

Next Steps in the Bylaw Amendment Process

The Bylaw Review Committee will carefully evaluate the feedback and suggestions received from the community and incorporate reasonable recommendations that best serve NCNC’s needs, values, and long-term goals.

We will also make every effort to address questions, concerns, and potential areas of disagreement through the online feedback process. A community Town Hall meeting will be considered based on the level of interest, feedback received, and the need for further discussion.

If no significant unresolved questions, concerns, or conflicting viewpoints require further discussion, we may proceed directly to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the formal approval process, without scheduling a separate Town Hall meeting.

The proposed amended Bylaws will be presented for approval at the AGM and will be subject to a vote by NCNC members attending the meeting, with approval determined by a majority vote, in accordance with the applicable bylaws and organizational requirements.
